PVC Insulated and Sheathed Power Cable

PVC Insulated and Sheathed Power Cable

Model Name: VV

👍 Excellent Electrical Insulation Properties

👍 Good Protection Features

👍 Flexible with Easy Installation

👍 Cost-effective Choice

👍 Good Performance

The PVC insulated and sheathed power cable has good chemical stability along with acid and alkali resistance, salt resistance, oil resistance, solvent resistance, and flame resistance.

The cables are usually made of single core and multi-core cables with copper or aluminum conductors, PVC insulated and PVC sheathed, with a rating voltage at 0.6/1KV.

Our product with model name VV is an example of PVC insulated and sheathed power cable with Cu core, PVC insulation, and PVC sheath. Other customized PVC insulated and sheathed power cable is also available.

Conductor Material: Copper core is an excellent conductor material, possessing high conductivity and good mechanical strength. Copper core conductors efficiently transmit electrical energy, with low resistance and minimal energy loss under current load.

Insulation Material: The conductor of the cable is insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC). PVC insulation exhibits outstanding insulating properties, effectively preventing current leakage and arc occurrence. It also possesses good heat resistance, maintaining stable insulation performance within a certain temperature range.

Sheath Material: The cable is covered with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sheath. PVC sheathing provides features such as waterproofing, corrosion resistance, and oil resistance, protecting the internal conductors and insulation layers of the cable from external environmental corrosion and physical damage.

Conductor: Stranded Copper Conductor

Insulation: PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride)

Sheath: PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride)

Core Numbers: from 1 to 4cores (can be customized)

  Voltage Rating: 0.6/1KV or lower

  Temperature Rating: Max. 70℃ for conductor continuous operating temp; Min. 0℃ for installation environment temp.

  Standard: GB/T 12706

  Installation bending radius:

A) non-armored cable layer shall be not less than 6 times the cable diameter;

B) with armor or copper screened cable, not less than 12 times the cable diameter;

C) with a shield layer flexible cable, not less than 10 times the cable diameter.

The unarmored PVC insulated and sheathed power cable is designated for general use including underground burial, where they are not likely to suffer mechanical damage.

The armored PVC insulated and sheathed power cable is the most suitable for underground burial where there is a risk of mechanical damage.
